“We are planning to bring a number of partners into the women’s academy to help fund what is sure to be a wonderful success story in the years ahead,” General Manager Hubert Murphy stated.

“We have to thank Volkswagen Passenger Cars and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles for their joint partnership with the academy and it was great to welcome Simon McCormack from Western Motors, Sam Reilly and Fran Read from Volkswagen Passenger Cars and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles to the club recently. “These are the type of agreements that will allow for the growth of the women’s game at League of Ireland level as well as through the grassroots system that we are presently expanding.”
