Drogheda United are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Sean Brennan from UCD.
The midfielder had spent the last two seasons with UCD, earning promotion in 2021 before the Students’ retained their place in the Premier Division in 2022.
The 21-year-old spent his schoolboy career with Belvedere before joining English side Southampton.
Brennan spent four years at Southampton, having loan spells at both Longford and Shamrock Rovers II in that spell before signing for UCD ahead of the 2021 season.
He is the first new signing made by Kevin Doherty for 2023, and joins Evan Weir, Dayle Rooney, Emre Topçu, Adam Foley, Ryan Brennan, Luke Heeney and Darragh Noone in the squad for next season.
