Drogheda United are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Lee Steacy from Longford Town.

The 29-year-old joins the Boynesiders after spending the last three and a half seasons with Longford Town.

In that spell, Steacy was named to the PFAI First Division Team of the Year in 2019, before being part of the Longford side to gain promotion through the play-offs in 2020.

Steacy made more than 75 appearances for Longford, after joining from Shelbourne ahead of the 2019 season.

Prior to his spell at Shelbourne, Steacy also played for Bray Wanderers, Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers.
