Drogheda United have agreed a partnership deal with Murtaghs of Drogheda.
With support from the likes of Fleetwood and Dulux, Murtaghs will be supplying all the paint requirements for the club for 2023/2024.
“Barry Murtagh and the team at Murtaghs of Drogheda have been great supporters of the club for many years and we are delighted to have them on board as part of this agreement. They are a household name at the Fair Green in Drogheda,” General Manager Hubert Murphy stated.

“The ground has been part and parcel of Drogheda sport for many years and constantly needs to be cared for, so getting support from the likes of Murtaghs is crucial for us,” Hubert added.

Barry Murtagh, of Murtaghs of Drogheda, often spent Sunday afternoons in the Lourdes Stadium with his father William, and also attended the first game in the newly renovated United Park.

“We have a long tradition of supporting the Drogs and it’s great to see them doing so well this season.”

“As a local firm, we want to back community projects and the club does so much to highlight the positives of the town on a national scale,” Barry said.

The new Murtaghs of Drogheda sign is now pitchside at Weavers Park as part of the agreement.
