Drogheda United and Turkish Airlines are delighted to have agreed a new partnership deal for 2023/2024.

“Drogheda United is a strong brand in both this country and abroad and we have enjoyed strong links with Türkiye for many years, so this is a partnership we really want to endorse and develop,” Drogs general manager Hubert Murphy stated. 

“We believe the club can be a driving force for the town too and having Turkish Airlines on board adds to the bigger picture. It is an iconic world leading brand and they are very much a leader in the aviation industry.”

Drogheda United is determined to further enhance its portfolio of strategic partners in the months ahead.

“As a club, we need to plan for the future and continue to build the brand within the community. It’s great to see so many people of all ages wearing the crest of the club around the town and further afield. Partnering with our great friends at Turkish Airlines adds to the profile of this great club and we are delighted to have them side by side with us.”

Ebuzer Tanhan, the General Manager of Turkish Airlines İreland, said that cooperating with Drogheda United F.C is highly important due to the history between our two countries.

“We are very happy to have signed a sponsorship agreement with Drogheda United F.C and we will extend support to contribute to their further brandization.”

Turkish Airlines will be represented at Weavers Park and the airline logo will continue to feature on our jerseys as part of the agreement.

The club and the airline will also appear together in joint commercials and cooperate in social media.
