The midfielder first joined Kevin Doherty’s side mid-way through the 2022 season and went on to make eleven appearances before the end of the season.

Noone had previously played for Bray, Shelbourne, and Sligo before moving to Spain where the midfielder played with Spanish Third Division side Talavera.

Darragh had then been both coaching and playing with LSL side Beechwood on his return to Ireland before he joined Drogheda for the remainder of the 2022 League of Ireland season.

Noone played in midfield, at right back and centre half across his first half season with the club. His first four appearances were as a substitute before he made his first start in the FAI Cup tie at home to Shamrock Rovers.
