D&A Gourmet have been announced as the catering partners for Drogheda United’s games at Head in the Game Park this season.

The company will serve both the home and away sides, starting on Friday night against Shelbourne.

Barry McHugh from D&A said he was delighted with the move and looks forward to a big season ahead.

“We are delighted to be the catering partner with Drogheda United for the upcoming league and cup season. Some of you are already familiar with us as we have a catering van trading permanently at Wogans build Centre on the North Road. Our famous breakfast bap has been described as the best in Drogheda,” he stated.

“For those of you who don’t know us we are a small family business catering for large and small events We have catered at Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann, the National ploughing championships and numerous private events around the country. We have catered at Drogheda United in the past before Covid times. However we are back now and looking forward to looking after you before during and after the games at Head in the Game Park. We source as much of our offering  as we can locally and our staff are from the locality also.  Watch out for our menus coming soon,” Barry added.

On behalf of Drogheda United, General Manager Hubert Murphy said they were delighted to see D&A Gourmet on board. “It’s a well-known company and they’ll be offering a great hot food service, so people arriving at the game from work, college or whatever, will be well catered for. They’ll be open before the game so come early and sample what they have on offer.”
