Corporate Patron Campaign Extended to 2022

At the start of this season we launched our corporate patron campaign to great success with 54 businesses and individuals coming onboard for the 2020 and 2021 campaigns.

The opportunity to rename United Park after their chosen charity, for both seasons, was a key draw for patrons when it came to joining the campaign. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, our plans to unveil the renamed United Park had to be put on hold due to the suspension of football and the subsequent restriction on crowds attending games.

In light of the curtailed season, we wish to advise that the renaming of United Park will now take place at the beginning of next season to enable the chosen charity to be promoted to its fullest ability and will run for the 2021 & 2022 campaigns. All patrons who have paid their contribution for this season will be put into a draw for a free ground board in United Park for the 2021 season.

John Matthews, General Manager of Drogheda United, said: “We sincerely appreciate the support of all of our patrons during this tough time for businesses and look forward to working with them over the coming seasons.”
