Conor Keeley signs for Drogheda United

Drogheda United are delighted to announce the signing of defender Conor Keeley.

Keeley returns to the club having made 37 appearances in claret and blue in 2023, before moving to St. Patrick’s Athletic for the 2024 season.

The 27-year-old is the second new signing made by Kevin Doherty for 2025, after the addition of goalkeeper Jack Brady.

“I’m delighted to be back. I know I was only here for a year, but it really felt like home. I’ve kept in contact with a lot of people in the club, and to be back is an unbelievable feeling.

“It’s exciting times at the club. The lads did unbelievable, particularly in the second half of the season. Winning the cup was massive for both the club and the town, and I was delighted for everyone involved.

“I’ve always said that the Drogs fans are the best in the league, and I’m just so excited to get back out there and play in front of them again,” Keeley said.
