Drogheda United are delighted to confirm that Jake Hyland has signed a new deal with the club.
The 23-year-old, who joined the club from Bohemians in 2016, made 30 appearances last season in all competitions, scoring twice.
Hyland, who was named club captain by manager Tim Clancy, had his season cut short as he sustained a broken leg in the second leg of the play-off victory over Shelbourne at Tolka Park.
Following a successful rehabilitation, the midfielder is hopeful of being available for selection early in the new season and his signature brings the Drogs squad up to eight for 2019.
