Drogheda United are delighted to announce that Sean Brennan, Conor Kane and Chris Lyons have all re-signed ahead of the 2019 season.
The trio put pen to paper on Monday evening as they aim to spearhead Drogheda’s promotion push after the Boynesiders’ play-off finish this season.
Brennan, who is in his third spell at the club, rejoined Drogheda in 2015 but he enjoyed his best individual campaign in 2018, scoring 12 times in 27 appearances as well as being selected in the PFAI First Division Team of the Season.
Left-back Kane, who was also voted in the Team of the Season, has signed on for his third year at United Park with the 20-year-old having made 56 appearances for the Drogs to date.
Lyons, who was among manager Tim Clancy’s first signings in charge last December, was a big hit with the Drogs supporters as the forward netted eight times in 29 appearances, including the winner at home to Shamrock Rovers in the FAI Cup.
The Club expect to make further signings in the weeks ahead as Clancy looks to build his squad ahead of the new season.
